I've been using this mouse and keyboard combo now for at least 4 years, so I'm really eager to get the mouse working on my MacBook.

The Microsoft IntelliPoint software states 'no Microsoft mouse devices found', so I'm certain this driver isn't interfering with the Logitech one. The button on my mouse that shows all open windows works in win 7.I would think thats a special key. I didnt think back/forward were considered 'special keys'. This is my work laptop, and at work I use a wireless Microsoft mouse. I didnt install logitech drivers in win 7.only on the Mac side. And the 'Logitech firmware update' which recognized the Unifying receiver and reported a successful firmware update. I say 'appears' because it is the only download that lists 10.15 as an available Mac OS version.

Plugging the receiver into a different USB port. Then reinstalled what appears to be the most recent Logitech drivers for Mac: 'Logicool'.

So I guess there's plenty more bugs for them to fix for the most unreliable operating system, macOS Sierra 10.12.5, typical.

Un-pairing the keyboard, so only the mouse is paired. My mouse is also listed as having full compatibility with the Logitech Control Center software.

I have the latest Logitech drivers installed, and the Logitech Control Center software recognises that the mouse is switched on, and even knows what level of battery it has:ĭespite this, none of the buttons work and moving the mouse doesn't move the cursor. Both work through the same USB receiver as intended when plugged into a Samsung Notebook and PlayStation 4 console, but for whatever reason, only the keyboard works when plugged into the MacBook.
